About the Role

The Sales Account Trainee program is a comprehensive, phased training experience designed to develop future Account Executives. You will gain hands-on experience in recruiting, sales, and client relationship management—preparing you to drive business growth and deliver impactful hiring solutions.


What You’ll Do

Phase 1: Recruiting Foundations

  • Source and attract qualified candidates using job boards, social media, networking, and other creative methods

  • Evaluate candidates through phone screens, interviews, skills assessments, and reference checks

  • Consistently meet and exceed recruitment goals and quotas

  • Assist in generating leads and setting appointments with potential clients

  • Attend weekly progress and knowledge development meetings

Phase 2: Intro to Sales

  • Participate in sales training sessions and role-playing activities

  • Learn Medix’s sales strategies and products using the Medix Sales Playbook

  • Begin integrating sales skills while continuing to recruit

  • Receive ongoing coaching and performance feedback

Phase 3: Sales Development

  • Cold call and prospect to set meetings with potential clients

  • Shadow experienced Account Executives in client meetings

  • Continue sales development through coaching, role plays, and performance evaluations

Phase 4: Account Executive Promotion

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects

  • Execute territory sales plans and drive revenue through staffing solutions

  • Negotiate client contracts and close deals

  • Lead and support a team of recruiters

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for both clients and candidates

  • Consistently meet and exceed sales performance goals

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Service-oriented mindset with a positive, can-do attitude

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Self-starter with the ability to take initiative

  • Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills
